2Open your file and print
- Open your file from Google Drive.

- Press ? Cmd + P again. A print box opens with no printer chosen yet.

Something different happened
It opened in Preview, or downloaded instead: if it downloaded, open the Downloads folder and double-click your file. Then press ? Cmd + P, choose your printer, and click Print.
It went straight to a printer: check the printers for your pages before printing again. If they came out on the wrong one, print again and choose the right printer on purpose.
3Using the Konica for single-sided color
The Konica prints on both sides by default. To print on one side:
- In Chrome, press ? Cmd + Option + P, or click Print using system dialog at the bottom of the print menu.
- Click the dropdown in the middle of the print window (it may say “Copies & Pages” or “Preview”) and scroll to Printer Options.
- Choose Layout / Finish.
- Under the Layout tab, change the setting from 2-Sided to 1-Sided, then click Print.
Something went wrong?
Nothing came out
Wait a minute, then check that you picked the right printer. Fix the problem before you print again, so you don’t waste paper. Ask a librarian if you’re stuck.
Is there paper in the printer?
If not, grab a ream of printer paper from behind the reference desk and reload it yourself. Ask a librarian if you have any trouble.
Is there a paper jam?
Follow the instructions on the printer’s screen to clear it. Ask a librarian if you have any trouble.
The Konica says “incorrect paper size”
The Konica can’t print A4. On the Konica’s screen, pick one of the 8.5 × 11 paper trays.
Still stuck? Ask a librarian at the Helen Temple Cooke Library desk.
