What a festive night we had in the Library on Halloween! As the clock struck 7 in our spookily-decorated Library, the lights went off and “The Nightmare Before Christmas” began to play on the wall above our graveyard fireplace.
We enjoyed listening to the songs of Jack Skellington and the rest of Halloween Town while munching on orange cupcakes, “witches’ hats” cookies, candy, and popcorn. Even the disembodied arm floating around the room couldn’t stop the festivities.
We wrapped up the night with a costume contest and prize. We can’t wait to celebrate more holidays in the Library again!
